The Continuous BioFlow Network Launch – 10 January 2025 – Edinburgh
The Continuous BioFlow Network has recently been established, with funding from BBNet, by a group of researchers interested in the advancement of biomanufacturing and continuous flow biocatalysis. The launch event will take place at Heriot-Watt University on Friday 10th January 2025. The aim of the event is to incubate new partnerships across the UK to help advance the field of continuous biomanufacturing and flow biocatalysis. This will include attendees from academia and industry.
There will be two plenary speakers, Prof. Ian Baxendale from Durham University, and Dr Sarah Cleary from HydRegen, and all attendees are offered the chance to present their work through either a flash or poster presentation. There will be numerous opportunities for discussion and networking, and a drinks reception in the evening. The meeting is generously supported by funding from the Royal Society of Chemistry, and the Biomass Biorefinery Network (BBNet), a BBSRC NIBB.
The event is free, but places are limited and will be allocated on a ‘First-come, first-served basis’. Registration will close when maximum numbers are reached. There are also travel bursaries available to support those with access to limited funding. You can indicate if you wish to be considered for financial support in the registration form (see link below to register). Please contact the organisers if you have any questions about this, or if you have any additional needs regarding your attendance at the meeting.
